End of year Procedures

1: Uniforms and Instruments = Transcripts and Parking / Graduation obligations
Uniforms and Instruments were collected today.  Tomorrow is the deadline to turn these in and have them assessed by the teacher and uniform chair. Failure to return these items will result in transcripts being withheld and money owed. In the long-term, failure to take care of these obligations would prevent a student from school parking and walking at graduation.  Please make sure you have cleared your name for all school instruments and uniforms.
Personal instruments should be taken home tomorrow, if you have not already brought yours home.
2: Final Exams = 10% of your Grade
1st and 2nd period Final Exam is tomorrow, Tuesday 5/23.  4th period Final Exam is on Wednesday, 5/24.  The final exam is 10% of your overall grade.  We had a year-end review in our classes today.  It will be a written exam and students should come prepared with 2 or more sharpened pencils.
3: DVD & Slideshow
Order forms are still coming in for the Orchestra 2016-2017 DVD.  If you still want to order a DVD, the deadline for your order form and $10 is tomorrow, 5/23.  We will give you an ETA regarding when we think the DVD’s will be ready for distribution.

More about uniforms:

Uniforms should be dry cleaned before returning them back to orchestra.
You need to have DRY CLEANING RECEIPT with DATE and STUDENT’S NAME ON IT.   No name= no credit for returning.
Remember: uniforms are school/booster property and must be paid for if not returned per signed agreement.
  • If you choose, you may return the uniform uncleaned, and include a dry cleaning & service fee of $25.  Cash or check made out to KMOB and put your payment in the green safe.
  • Guys please include all pieces: pants, jacket, shirt, bow tie, and black shirt studs.
  • Seniors, you need to clear this in order to walk at graduation.  You can get a head start since you get to wear your own choice for concert attire.

2. Enrichment Grades are open for submission. Enrichment grades were not reflected in the most recent progress reports that were sent home (to give students time before submitting activities).
