Schedule for PHILHARMONIA and SINFONIA Combined
Reminder:
The scores for LGPE are reported to Cobb County Schools, as well as the state-wide GMEA records.
With that in mind, we need to have TWO after-school rehearsals in order to put in our best effort for this performance evaluation. This is a rare occasion, but we are combining 2 different classes for LGPE this year. We need to have all students participate in rehearsal so that we can have balance, blend, and be a true ENSEMBLE. I want our students to be successful with this performance, and these rehearsals are necessary for their success.

Monday, 3/2
4:00 – 5:30 PM All Philharmonia and Sinfonia Students (full group and sectionals)

Tuesday, 3/3
4:00 – 5:30 PM All Philharmonia and Sinfonia Students (final chair placements)

*Students who are COMPETING for a Mustang Sport may be excused from after-school rehearsal.
*Students who have a sports PRACTICE, please inform your coach about LGPE requirements, and come to rehearsal.

Wednesday, 3/4
LGPE SCHEDULE for Phil/Sinfonia Combined Orchestra
7:15 AM Report to school IN UNIFORM. Gather In the orchestra room, get equipment and load bus.
7:35 AM Load bus and depart to North Cobb High School
9:30 AM ♪ KMHS PERFORMANCE 10:00 AM Sight-Reading evaluation
After Sight-reading, we will be observing and supporting other District Orchestras (Part of the process)
11:15 AM Load bus to KMHS
11:45 AM approximate time to return time to KMHS
Attire: All Students should wear their formal orchestra uniform to LGPE (including the bus ride). Please make sure your uniform is presentable and fits properly. Black Dress Shoes are required.
Instruments and Equipment (Label with name): Please remember your own rock stops and shoulder rests. If you have your own instrument, bring it to school.

Schedule for Chamber Orchestra
Wednesday, 3/4/20

Morning:  Bring Uniform, instrument, accessories to school.
3:45 PM Report to Orchestra room, change into uniform, rehearse, snack/dinner.
5:00 PM Load bus and depart for North Cobb HS
Check in, unload, and watch 1 or 2 groups
6:10 PM Warm-up Room
7:00 PM Performance
7:30 PM Sight-Reading
7:45 PM Parents take students home FROM NORTH COBB HS
